Privacy Policy

SSENCE is a wellness app that builds short body practices — breathing, grounding, release — based on how you tell us you feel. The SSENCE mobile application and the ssence.app website (the “Service”) are operated by Tetiana Holovina (“SSENCE”, “we”, “us”). Because what you share with us can be personal, we keep this policy specific, honest and in plain language.

1. Information we collect

Your account

What you share in the app

Collected automatically

What we do not collect

2. How we use your information

We deliberately designed our server logging so that the text of your entries does not appear in logs, even when errors occur.

3. Where your data lives and how long we keep it

You can delete your account yourself in the app settings (or by emailing us). Deletion removes your subscription link, your content and your sign-in records.

4. Who processes your data

We never sell your personal information and never share it with advertisers. A small number of service providers process data on our behalf, strictly to run the Service and under their data-processing terms:

Some providers are located in the United States or the EU; where data is transferred internationally, we rely on our providers’ safeguards and standard contractual protections. We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition — in which case this policy continues to apply.

5. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and data minimization — and we design the app to hold as little of your data as possible in the first place. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but keeping less means risking less.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EU/EEA and UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us — we will respond within the timelines required by law. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Children

SSENCE is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. A note on wellbeing data

Descriptions of how you feel can be sensitive. We treat all such information with extra care: it is used only to generate your practices and analyses, is never used for advertising or sold, and is never shared except as described in this policy. SSENCE is a wellness app — it does not create medical records or provide medical care.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continued use of SSENCE after a change means you accept the updated policy.
